Vampire Facial/Face PRP

Hey all!

Today is the day where i discuss this fancy facial called , “Vampire Facial“.

I heard about it long time back and that time it was just called a face PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).

But recently, this facial became famous by the name of Vampire Facial.

As the name suggests, its called so b coz of the blood used in the facial. No , no don’t get scared. Its not that the direct blood is used or anyone else blood is used for this treatment, but your own blood is taken and then they prepare the plasma from that blood in like 20 min, which is-They take out the growth factors(the rich ingredients responsible for anti-ageing, glow, collagen boost, etc) from our blood. So that’s why its called a vampire facial, as they then induce the blood by creating nano channels on the face and thus in the process the face becomes red.

So let me take you through the whole process step by step:

  1. They clean your face and make it absolutely clean
  2. 2. They apply a numbing cream(Prylox) which would make your face numb so that you don’t feel alot of pain in the process(yes it’s a little painful in the end :-)-45 Min
  3. While the numbing cream is on, they prepare plasma by taking your blood
  4. The the prylox is removed
  5. Then with the help of nano pore technology the doc will create small channels on your face and on the other hand the assistant would pour and massage the plasma on the treated area
  6. The pain is not there as the prylox is there and i was smiling when the process was happening
  7. The face does become red, but nothing to worry-its the process
  8. So this happens on the whole face
  9. I was also given a little bit of retinol as that would improve my skin texture by exfoliating my skin(the channels on my face were open so the retinol would penetrate deep in the face)
  10. finally there would be massage with the left over plasma-which is little painful as the skin becomes sensitive
  11. Then they would do icing and you are good to go

Observations after the treatment:

  1. Face will look red
  2. Somewhere there will be a little swelling
  3. Maybe small bruces

But don’t worry at all, this is just a part of the process. The swelling will subside in few hours and the redness will settle in a day and then the whole skin will slowly come off with an amazing glow on the face :)..

Precautions after the treatment:

Avoid sunlight

Apply sunblock with 50 plus SPF

Moisturize face alot of times in a day-preferably moisturizer called “Emolene”

Use gentle face cleaner from the next day of the treatment(Cetaphil mild cleanser)

Don’t use anything apart from these 2 till the skin comes off.

Time interval after for the process is- For girls less than 40 years of age it is once in 6 months, for ladies above 40 it would be once in three months for best results.

Pros:

  1. Tightening
  2. Anti-ageing
  3. Youthful looking face
  4. Texture of skin improves
  5. Removes scars
  6. The skin is glowing
  7. Brightening

Basically all skin benefits in one treatment!

Cons:

  1. Little bit of pain after the treatment
  2. The skin is red and looks treated for next 5 days
  3. But both of the above are worth it

” Cantabil” Fashion Show at Indiarunwayweek March 2019

Cantabil presents its refreshing spring summer’19 collection at India runway week. The retail house spruced up the stage with its youthful and blooming ready to wear collection with its fresh  palette.

The collection unravelled the summer 19 fashion trend with its color range of roman pink,  aqua blue,  algae greens,  coral red,  mustard,  cobalt blue etc.

Cantabil’s men’s wear collection put the stage on freeze with the season’s biggest trend showcasing the diverse range of color and styles to pick from. It’s casual range of super light weight blazers in dobby,  checks and structures spoke volumes about its finest and elegant choice of fabrics like linens blends and 100%linens which were  styled and layered to precision to get that perfect urban dandy look.Looks  created had; textured light pastel colors layed over a shirt or tee with beige or khaki pants, sky blue linen blazers paired up with shorts, tone on tone layering, window pane blazers layed up with printed shirts and denims etc.

The next collection had on the floor all classy formal and party looks. Moving away from cliche the range had mix and match concepts to tonal dressing ideations. The party 3pcs suits were the head Turners with its impeccable structures and designs which had shiny tuxedos to matched jacquards in the shades of navys and blacks. The formal 2 pcs were also fit and styled to perfection for any business meetings. A brief but radically unique collection of bandgalas in linens with straight cuts and jacquards in achkan style added ethnic roots to the collection.

Cantabil’s women’s wear collection was a true blend of club wear dressing along with casual looks. The looks revolved around off shoulder floral dresses clinched at the waist , body con color blocked dresses, coordinate sets of wide legged pants to solid elegant tops.  The concept had everything you need trendy and would like to experiment for making this summer a breezy affair including light weight fabrics under florals , stripes , solids and much loved digital prints.

VLCC Anti Tan facial kit review

Hello guys! How are you doing all?

This one is specially for the ones who want to take special care of your skin at home.

I use bleach(oxy-bleach) one in a month as i do get tan as i go out in the sun for work. I get facials also doe and i do clean ups at home also.

But still had that stubborn tan on my face.

Then someone suggested me de-tan facial kits which we can use at home.

I searched online for the best with best of reviews and found VLCC Anti-Tan professional facial kit the best.

So i thought it and gave it a try and here i am reviewing the product for you.

The product comes in a small cuboidal box with 6 products inside.

Its for Rs. 250 only so it could be tried without any thoughts of investment loss.

WHAT THE PACK SAYS:

  1. Get the parlour glow
  2. Fades tan
  3. Softens sun exposed skin
  4. Tells the steps of facial

1st step:CLEANSER AND TONER:

They have given a small sachet tube of cleanser and toner. It s a cream which you apply before you start

2nd Step: SCRUB

Its an oatmeal scub. Its in powder form so i felt that its little untidy to add water and then use it. But it did the magic. We have to leave it for 1-2 min, scrub and then wash off.

It did leave the skin smooth and its not harsh on skin. I liked it.

3rd Step: GEL

The gel smelled nice and we have to do little massage with it and ;leave it and wash off.

Its made of cucumber and aloe vera.

I like these kinds of facial kits which tell you to leave the product and do the next step as, as per my experience they do magic on skin.

4th Step: CREAM

This step requires you to massage for 10-15 min in circular motion. I would suggest upward circular motions. You can see youtube videos of how to self massage your face, trust me they are of great help.

Do wet your hand once the cream dries which you are massaging your face as you dont want to finish off the whole cream when rest of the stuff will stay with you.

The product says the cream is multi-action with pistachio and nutmeg(which according to me is very good ingredient for tan removal)

5th Step: PACK

This step is regular like any pack. Just apply the pack and leave it for 15-20 min and then wash off. They say that this pack has wintercherry and aloevera extracts which lightens the skin and helps in handling the damaged skin.

6th STEP: MOISTURIZER

This is the final step when we apply the moisturiser which they have given. It comes in a small tube which cant be re-sealed.

It has an spf of 15.

I think i can use this for min 5-6 times if i use it with care. But its made for 1 time use that’s why they havn’t given a cap on the moisturiser.

Overall review:

Pros:

  1. Does remove tan
  2.  Very economical for the quantity and the work it does
  3. Trust worthy brand-VLCC
  4. I like the ingredients in it(they are tan removal ingredients)
  5.  The pack can e reused 5 times min

Cons:

  1. The pack if reused has to be kept in an air-tight container and that too it shouldn’t move else the scrub will spill
  2. Alot of steps involved

RATING: 4/5 *****

I would use it regularly and tell you guys how is it working on my skin.

This is my first usage.
